Sandra Schoon

Sandy grew up in a farm family in southern Minnesota and earned a degree in music education from St. Cloud State University. She taught elementary music one year before joining the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ, where she worked as a financial administrative assistant. During the years Sandy and Nelson’s daughters were growing up, she played organ and piano for church along with accompanying school choirs and soloists for ISSMA. She also encouraged their daughters through many 4-H sewing projects.
